Activ Business Services manufacturing sites provide clients with quality solutions to their materials handling and logistics requirements. Over 340 employees are directly involved in manufacturing a wide range of timber, metal and textile products.

Timber

Timber manufacturing makes up a large component of the sales produced by Activ. All timber products are manufactured to a high quality standard and to customer specifications. Timber products manufactured to comply with export requirements have been certified by The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service. External audits are also conducted on our manufacturing site on a 6 month basis to ensure that we remain compliant with the AWPCS standards.

To keep up with the demand for our timber products, Activ’s timber manufacturing sites have been equipped with new timber preparation and pallet technology, which has enabled us to be more efficient in our service delivery.

Metal

Activ Metal Manufacturing produces metal components, fittings and fixtures primarily from stainless steel and zinc alum. Products are supplied to and suitable for a range of industries including construction and mining.

Activ Bentley is home to our stamping presses up to 110 tonnes. This machinery is complemented by a Kingsland Metal Worker, press brake, spot welder, surface grinder, milling machine and an overhead crane.

Marine

Activ have developed a reputation for our quality manufacture and supply of Cray pots and Cray pot components such as bait baskets with lids and float savers. Products are available in a range of materials (inc. Jarrah, Kari and Pine) for both the commercial and recreational markets.

Mining

Activ supply and manufacture a wide range of supplies and consumables to the mining industry including:

• Steel Wool Cathodes
• Mining sample bags (inc. sequential numbering)
• Delineators
• Parts Boxes
• Coloured banners for marking mineral saturation areas

Textiles

Activ manufactures a variety of quality textile products for a range of industries including mining, construction and health care. Products include:

• Hospital/ Medical linen (surgical, bedroom & bathroom)
• Hospitality linen
• Sweat bands for hard hats
• Waterproof pants

• Tie Down Straps

Packaging and Light assembly

Activ Property Care provides a range of horticultural services in Western Australia, based throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regionally from Albany in the south to Kalgoorlie in the east and to Geraldton in the north, utilising 25 crews and providing employment for 140 supported employees.
