| Fundraising through major public events provides us with the chance to enhance our profile in the community as well as raise valuable funds to improve facilities and services for people with disabilities.
We rely on generous volunteers who give up their time to assist with events such as the Chevron City to Surf for Activ.

On Sunday 9 October, almost 60 years to the day since Activ came into being, the Activ 60th Birthday Garden Party takes place in Government House Gardens.
The Activ Recreation Sundowner Ball on 2 September and the Bunbury Ball on 17 September are Activ 60th Anniversary themed events.

The Chevron City to Surf for Activ Expo on Thursday 25 to Saturday 27August 2011 at Perth Exhibition & Convention Centre will feature a display celebrating Activ’s 60th year.
