We need you! If you are
not participating in 2010 this is a perfect way for you to still be
a part of the team. As the roads are closed along the entire course,
we’re looking for Road Marshals to be positioned at each
intersection. This is a great way to watch the race, and to play an
active role in helping the community. Volunteers get a free T-Shirt;
hat; snacks and lollies provided by Coles.
If you need more
information please call the Volunteer Coordinator on 9436 0202 or
email volunteers@csports.com.au

 Kate with her 20 year
service to Activ Award.

|

39 year old Activ
employee Kate Crannigan from Floreat will this year be participating
in her 9th City to Surf. She is supporting the event that supports
her by participating with another Team Activ member.
Kate,
who resides in Floreat, has a developmental disability and has
been working as a supported employee at Activ Osborne Park for the
past 20 years. Every year she takes
part in the Nissan 4km Walk and this year is no
exception.
Kate enjoys being involved in the City to
Surf and always has a great time. Her involvement contributes to
supporting Activ as well as looking after her fitness and health.
She has made sure to keep up with training by going walking with her
mum and her dog on a regular basis.
Kate is looking forward
to receiving her medal upon completion of the event. We wish
her all the best for the big day and hope it is her most enjoyable
event yet!
