There was something for everyone at the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ Expo.
The 2009 expo offered an exciting line up of presentations on health, wellness and nutrition, a 'Pasta carb. loading Party' was offered during lunch each day, and a wide variety of exhibitors displayed an array of sport and leisure related products and services, including merchandise, sports nutrition, health and fitness supplements and much more.
The Expo was FREE to enter for everyone, NOT JUST REBEL SPORT CITY TO SURF FOR ACTIV PARTICIPANTS!

PASTA PARTY
The inaugural Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ Pasta Party was an opportunity for athletes to fuel their body with carbohydrates, giving them the energy they needed before event day.
EXPO SEMINARS - HEALTH & FITNESS
At the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ expo a range of seminars were presented by a series of health and fitness experts.
Sessions included:
- A session with Sunday Times sport editor and Marathon participant Glen Quartermain and his Prime Health Trainer
- Prime Health interactive “Triple S - Stretch, Stability and Strength” session that focused on great exercises to keep your body in ‘prime’ shape!
- Prime Health Hydration and Nutrition workshop - providing facts and fallacies about carbohydrates, protein and fats - what, how much and why?
PACE BRACELETS
Pace bracelets were available for all Marathon runners free from the Prime Health Group stand at the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ Expo.
