4KM WALK/RUN
 
The 4km Walk/Run started at Perry Lakes and travelled through Floreat and City Beach to the same finish line as all the other events. It was a great event for the kids and the elderly or for those who wanted to take part but at a shorter distance. Participants were welcome to walk or run the course and prams and wheelchairs were welcome as long as they started at the rear of the field. This event was a great way to get involved and was a good starting distance for beginners.

Ben Gould participated in his first Channel Nine 12km run in the Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ on Sunday 30 August 2009.
