Who We Are
We are Activ, and we believe in you.
We believe in your abilities, your potential and supporting you to make real choices in your life.
Since 1951 we have been supporting people living with intellectual and developmental disability. That means we love what we do and we have a passion for people. Our purpose, vision and values all combine to explain what we stand for and why you can believe in us.
Activ’s registered training organisation (RTO), Activ Pathways, is set to benefit from the State Government’s $57 million fee reduction package for the training sector.
The COVID-19 pandemic has provided unexpected opportunities for Activ to connect with new businesses and organisations. As part of a Community Support initiative, Chef Rocky from The Left Bank made us some video cooking tutorials to share with you.
Have you heard about our Activ at Home program? The program offers opportunities to learn and connect from the safety and comfort of home. We’re trialing a range of innovative ways to support our customers from home using virtual service offerings.
Did you know that Activ Pathways training is in high demand across the State? The Activ Pathways team delivered training to 150 non-Activ staff this year, in locations as diverse as Kununurra, Roebourne, Narrogin and Albany.
