Activ’s flagship art exhibition, Activ Artspace is back again for 2017!
Launched in 2014, Activ Artspace is a free public exhibition showcasing original art pieces created by people living with disability. The 2017 exhibition features over 60 original photographs alongside painted pieces created through a range of different mediums.
The 2017 exhibition also features a one of a kind auction piece donated by Activ Artist Roslyn Burns. Diagnosed with an uncontrollable movement disorder and paralysis of her right arm, it’s nearly impossible for Roslyn to hold a paintbrush in her hands so she has learned to paint her work exclusively with her left foot. Silent auction bids for the piece, entitled “Waterfall” will be open until Friday, 2nd June.
Visitors can view the unique artwork in the Activ Library, 327 Cambridge Street Wembley from Monday, 29th May to Friday 2nd June.
