October - ACTIV EMPLOYEES CELEBRATE 40 YEARS OF SERVICE
Activ employees Ian Heggie and Colin Veitch will celebrate 40 years working for Activ this Friday, 9 October as part of the Activ Rockingham’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

October - COTTESLOE RESIDENT DRIVES AWAY WITH BRAND NEW HYUNDAI
Cottesloe resident Nigel Williamson will drive away with a brand new Hyundai i30 after winning the 2015 Activ Dreams fundraising competition, run as a part of the 2015 Chevron City to Surf for Activ.

June - GIVE THE GIFT OF CHANGE THIS TAX TIME
Not everyone is born with a disability – every week, ten to fifteen Australian’s sustain a severe brain injury. Twenty-four year old Ross Scrimegour was riding his motorcycle when an accident changed his life forever. Involved in a head-on collision, Ross suffered double frontal lobe and brain stem damage, hypersensitivity to half his body and short term memory loss.

April - ACTIV ARTSPACE CELEBRATES LOCAL ARTIST AERON TOWSE
Local artist Aeron Towse from Gwelup is looking forward to being part of the exhibition for the second year. Her piece, entitled ‘Birds of a Feather’ draws inspiration from the work of another Western Australian artist, Becky Blair. It also holds a special place in her heart.

March - ARTSPACE COMES TO ACTIV
Activ Artspace, hosted by WA’s largest not for profit disability service provider Activ, is back again for 2015, featuring more than 40 original art pieces created by people living with disability. 

March - TEE OFF AND RAISE MONEY FOR ACTIV 
The 20th Annual Dragonfly Charity Golf Day is teeing off this March, with all money raised supporting WA’s largest not-for-profit disability service provider Activ Foundation. 

March - ACTIV AND WESTRAC CELEBRATE 10 YEARS IN PARTNERSHIP
This year, Activ Foundation celebrates their 10 year partnership with WesTrac – Australia’s leading mining equipment management company.

Activ’s Lockett Street Respite Centre is teaming up with Fremantle boxing gym One More Round to give clients the chance to learn boxing skills and techniques from some of the best in the business.

Lunchtimes at Activ Rockingham are now filled with music thanks to a new dance program modified and specifically designed for staff and clients. 

January - DISABILITY LEADERS JOIN FORCES FOR EXPO
Leading disability service providers Activ, The Centre for Cerebral Palsy, Identitywa, Mosiac, Nulsen Disability Services and Rocky Bay have joined forces for the inaugural Accommodation and Community Expo for People Living with Disability.
