Activ recently reopened Noah’s Ark WA, which was previously run by the Independent Living Centre. Noah’s Ark is a unique service that connects families, therapists and educators with resources and information to support the play and development of children with additional needs. The library component of the service offers members access to a large collection of specialist toys, resources and equipment for loan.
The current opening hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am – 1.30pm with annual drop-in memberships available for new and past members.
We are pleased to announce that commencing on Saturday, 5 May 2018 the service will also be open on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10.00am – 1.00pm
Susan Glasson has joined the team at Activ as the Manager for Noah’s Ark WA. An Early Childhood Educator with a background in child development and inclusion Susan is available during opening hours to provide professional support in regard to selecting developmentally appropriate resources and optimising learning through play.
