Activ offers flexible short-term accommodation options to support children with disability and their families.
Activ Learning and Discovery Centre (ALDC)
The ALDC is the combined offering of the state’s largest disability library (Activ Library) and the Noah's Ark Toy Library. It is a unique service that connects people living with disability, their families, carers, therapists and educators with resources and support. It has more than 8,000 items including developmental resources, books, DVDs, training materials and journals, with a strong focus on intellectual disability and autism.
For parents and families our Parent Portal is a good place to start when seeking disability related information. Information is categorised into syndromes and conditions, life events, special topics and has an area for parent and carer support with suggestions on support groups and organisations who can provide assistance.
