Our community access programs

Community services support participation in everyday life and provide the opportunity for you to try something new, meet new people and better connect with your community.

You can access one-to-one or group supports, and also have the option of attending one of our community hubs located across the state.

Is community participation funded by the NDIS?

Assistance with Social and Community Participation’ is a funded support category that the NDIS may fund. The funding supports participants to reach goals relating to engaging with the community, social or recreational activities.

What disability community programs are available?

A wide range of community programs exist. Some activities and programs include art programs, computer training, sport and recreation, independent living skills, support with accessing TAFE courses, volunteer work and work experience.
