Our community access programs

Community services support participation in everyday life and provide opportunities for you to try something new, meet new people and better connect with your community.

You can access one-to-one or group supports, and also have the option of attending one of our community hubs located across the state.

Is community participation funded by the NDIS?

Assistance with Social and Community Participation is a funded support category that the NDIS may fund. The funding supports participants to reach goals relating to engaging with the community, or taking part in social or recreational activities.

What disability community programs are available?

A wide range of community programs exist. Some activities and programs include art programs, computer training, sport and recreation, independent living skills, support with accessing TAFE courses, and support with taking part in volunteer work and work experience.
