The best way to protect our community from COVID-19 is to be vaccinated with three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
As WA Premier Mark McGowan reiterated in last night’s press conference, it is also our best defence against COVID-19 should WA experience widespread community transmission.
That’s why Activ welcomes the WA Government decision to mandate COVID-19 booster vaccinations as a condition of employment for many WA workers, including people employed by the disability services sector.
Activ has informed our staff, including our supported employees, of this decision and the requirement for staff to receive their booster vaccine within one month of becoming eligible.
Top of mind for Activ, as always, is to make sure we are taking all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for our staff and customers.
