We’re so excited to announce that Western Australia’s most loved family friendly and accessible fun run, the Chevron City to Surf for Activ, will return in 2023! The iconic event will be held in Karratha on Sunday 30 July 2023 and Perth on Sunday 27 August.
As our largest annual fundraiser, you’ll be able to choose between a 12km and 4km walk, run, or roll to have fun with your family, friends or colleagues, and most importantly, raise vital funds to support our programs and services for thousands of Western Australians living with a disability.
Our CEO Michael Heath is excited for the upcoming event!
“We are thrilled to be bringing the Chevron City to Surf for Activ back for the WA community to enjoy and thank our partners, Chevron, City of Perth, and the Town of Cambridge for their ongoing support of this event,” said Michael.
“With a focus on fun, family, and fundraising, all funds raised by participants will go directly into Activ Foundation programs and services for people with a disability.”
Clare Humphrey, an Activ employee said, “I love the City to Surf! I can’t wait to take part when it’s back next year! I love it because it’s fun and because by raising money for Activ, when people support it, they’re helping make a difference to the lives of Western Australians living with disability,” said Clare.
“I’ve been working at Activ since 2006. I started out working on packaging things for airlines. They gave me training to build my skills and now I work at the Wembley office doing reception and records.”
