CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

This course provides initial basic health and safety education to all persons working within the construction industry or who work on construction sites. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of WHS legislative requirements, the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.

Course Content

Includes one (1) unit of competency covering:

  • Identify WHS legislative requirements
  • Identify construction hazards and control measures
  • Identify WHS communication and reporting processes
  • Identify WHS incident response procedures

Assessment: completed during the training session.
