Fast track your pathway to employment into the care industry.

Through this skill set, you will learn the knowledge and skills to provide entry level support within the disability and aged care sectors. You will receive formal training and on the job experience at an Activ worksite, designed to build your skills and confidence plus provide you a pathway to work in a rewarding job role.

Course Content

A nine-day program to fast track your pathway to employment into the care industry.

This program includes three units of competency:

  • HLTINF001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • CHCCCS015 – Provide individualised support
  • HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care

Please note: the minimum age requirement for the Entry into Care Roles skill set is 18 years.

 

Study Pathways

Further study pathways available to students who undertake this skill set include progression to CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
