CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – Job Seeker

This qualification equips job seekers with the knowledge and practical skills to offer person-centred support in the care industry.

Course Includes

Gain valuable knowledge and skills as a support worker in the disability sector, to foster independence and community access for people with disability. Learn how to provide daily supports, dignity and choice for the people you support.

Contains 15 Units of Competency, including 9 core and 6 elective units.

Course Requirements

This qualification requires 120 hours of logged work placement (on the job experience to practice your skills). You may be required to organise your own work placement – Activ Pathways will provide support with this.

Suitable For

This program is designed for people who are not currently employed (job seekers) or working less than 20hrs per week, and want to study to gain the skills and knowledge to work in the Care Sector.

The program is delivered in condensed format (2 days of classroom training per week), as a way to fast track students to gain their qualification within a 6 month period. 120 hour work placement is in addition to this.
