All services
Visits to all sites must be considered essential. Visitors need to complete a health survey upon arrival and follow standard hygiene protocols.
Transport of customers
Travel in vehicles must still align with the WorkSafe’s ‘Safe Transport during the COVID Pandemic’. A safety checklist will need to be completed by staff before each trip. This will help to ensure each trip is both essential and conducted safely. To view the safety checklist, click here.
Activ vehicles and work use of private staff vehicles are permitted to have two passengers per row of seats however, passengers must be positioned to ensure maximum spacing between individuals.

Supported accommodation
The number of individuals on site at one time must not exceed the maximum number permitted as per the site COVID Safety Plan.
Multiple residents can have visitors simultaneously, but appropriate physical distancing must be maintained at all times and families/carers should still contact sites to book visits in advance.
Where a customer is taken out of supported accommodation for an outing, it must be to locations where physical distancing guidelines can be followed.
Visits to the family home are permitted but physical distancing guidelines must be followed and families should complete the health declaration.
Overnight stays require approval from a team leader, and families should complete the health declaration.
Community services
Activ community sites can re-open in accordance with the WA government requirements, but sites must complete a COVID Safety Plan and a record of visitors to sites must be maintained.
1:1, 2:1 and group activities in the community are acceptable on the condition all proposed activities must adhere to Activ policies and procedures and WA government requirements.
Employment services
During phase three we will continue services, as usual, while strictly adhering to the COVID-19 safety guidelines. Excess capacity will be considered for relocation to new agreed sites.
Property care
There is no change to property care, provided there is an adherence to physical distancing and hygiene guidelines, particularly around transportation of staff and customers.
Short-term accommodation/respite services
Steps to re-open short-term accommodation are underway. A COVID Safety Plan must be completed for each site prior to re-opening. If you are interested in accessing this service once it reopens, click here to send us an email and we will make sure that we contact you when we are ready to reopen.
