The WA Government has announced that further eased transitional restrictions will take effect at 12:01am Tuesday 6 July, and remain in place until 12:01am Monday 12 July.
As always, our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff.
The following transitional restrictions will be in place for Activ’s services in the Perth and Peel regions from 12:01am Tuesday 6 July.
If circumstances change and further restrictions are announced, we will communicate changes to you as soon as possible.
Changes to services in the Perth and Peel regions
Accommodation
Accommodation services will continue, with visits limited to 4 people per customer per day. All visitors must wear masks, check in using the SafeWA app or attendance sheet, have their temperatures checked and complete the Activ Health Survey.
Staff will continue to wear masks at all times on site.
Short-term accommodation
Short-term accommodation (STA) services can begin to take bookings, with stays permitted to begin from Tuesday 6 July. Customers are permitted to have up to 4 visitors per day. All visitors must wear masks, check in using the SafeWA app or attendance sheet, have their temperatures checked and complete the Activ Health Survey.
Deep cleaning will take place after each stay, and all staff will be wearing masks.
Community
Group community services will reopen, with a 150 person capacity limit (not including staff). Customers are required to check in using the SafeWA app or attendance sheet.
1:1 community services can recommence.
Masks are mandatory for staff and customers at Activ’s community hubs and in other indoor spaces. Masks are also mandatory in outdoor spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. If you have an exemption, or do not wish to wear a mask, you will need to speak us to discuss an alternative arrangement.
Employment
Employment sites will remain open, with the following restrictions in place for both staff and supported employees:
- Masks are mandatory. If you have an exemption, or do not wish to wear a mask, you will need to speak with us to discuss an alternative arrangement with you.
- Staff and supported employees must wear Activ-provided masks at Activ’s employment sites.
- Social distancing and good hygiene practices will remain in place.
- Transport of customers in vehicles is permitted, provided everyone wears a mask, unless an exemption is in place.
- Supported employees and staff are required to use the SafeWA app or attendance sheet when attending an employment site
COVID-19 testing
The WA Department of Health is urgently requesting anyone who experiences symptoms of COVID-19 to get tested and isolate.
If you have been at any of these locations at the times specified, you need to attend a COVID clinic for testing and follow the advice for that site. You must also notify health@activ.asn.au.
Activ services outside of the Perth and Peel regions
All of our services outside the Perth and Peel regions will continue as normal.
