We are thrilled to announce that yesterday morning Activ’s Employment Services site in Bentley was officially re-opened by the Honourable Stephen Dawson, Minister for Disability Services.
The Bentley site has been repurposed to create a state-of-the-art facility that provides employment opportunities to more than 400 people living with disability across WA.
The site includes a digital hub, new recreation areas, training rooms and custom designed workspaces. This centre will now offer a greatly expanded range of work options and choice for supported employees.
The opening of the centre marks the culmination of a project to consolidate four metropolitan Employment Services sites (Palmyra, Kewdale, East Victoria Park and Embleton) into the Bentley site.
The official opening took place appropriately at the WA Disability Enterprises annual event which celebrates the employment of Western Australians with disability.
