We regret to advise that we have cancelled the 2020 Chevron City to Surf for Activ, due to be held in August, in line with Federal and WA State Government directives around physical distancing and large group gatherings.
Our CEO Danielle Newport said while Activ is saddened not to share in the excitement of WA’s longest running and much-loved community fun run this year, the health and safety of the community come first.
“The Chevron City to Surf for Activ is Activ’s largest annual fundraising event, with donations raised directed to care and support services for WA families living with disability.
“For those runners, walkers, rollers and volunteers who look forward to fundraising and hitting the pavement each year, we would greatly appreciate your continued support by donating to Activ via our website,” said Ms Newport.
“Your donations will support West Australians living with disability to access a range of community services that support their journey towards independence,” she said.
“Our long-term sponsor and partner, Chevron Australia, has also pledged to continue to support us during these challenging times.
“We look forward to West Australians signing up for next year’s event.”
